Yet her ministry is just as fervent on the streets of Washington, D.C., and Maryland, where she brings light to underserved and overlooked communities.

Brenda is the author of Visitations to Heaven and Talking with Angels, a powerful and personal account of her near-death experience, which offers hope and insight into the spiritual realm. A Certified Professional Life Coach, she mentors individuals to identify their God-given strengths and live purposefully. Her coaching and materials inspire clarity, healing, and vision for the future.

In addition to her ministerial training, Brenda has studied extensively in biblical studies. She holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the College of William and Mary—a rare blend of theological depth and intellectual rigor that enriches every aspect of her calling.

Brenda is married to Harold Dean Trulear, Associate Professor at Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Her greatest passion is helping others discover and activate their God-given spiritual gifts so they can live out their divine purpose.
